More About the Taishan V120 server

This CPU technology has already been used in previous smartphones by Huawei. The core of this technology, which is V120, has been used in Huawei smartphones, including the Kirin 9000s and Mate 60 phone series.

According to Geekbench, the technology that has been used in the Taishan V120 server is similar to the Kirin 9000 chip technology. The single-core test of this technology in Geekbench scored 1,527, which was nearly equal to AMD’s Epyc 7413 and Intel’s Xeon E-2136 server processor. AMD’s Epyc 7413 server processor was launched in 2021 based on Zen 3 (Milan) architecture with socket SP3 and Intel’s Xeon E-2136 server processor was launched in 2018 and its architecture was based on Coffee Lake microarchitecture.
